Wow. I must admit that for just under $2k i would have gone for the TL if available when i bought mine
Well found @chartrock and that sounds like a good deal. We were quoted $2500 just for the smooth walls when we ordered in October. Couldn't justify that much for our van.

@17triton we were quoted $1500 for the walls when we ordered earlier this year but still couldn't justify the expense even though I really liked the look of it. Shame it doesn't come standard on all Jayco vans these days. I figure as this is our first van I won't know what I am missing so all good lol.
We have had both types of cladding on our 2 Expandas and it doesn't make a lot of difference to me. The smooth walls are easier to cut and polish if it fades but if you keep the aluminium well polished like I do (by hand) they look good.
The TL option was $1900 at the Adelaide caravan show. Like the look, not sure if I could justify the extra cost. Will be interesting to see how this option effects re-sale value.

If you read it carefully, it says leatherette not leather with the TL option.
