our eagle does not have a battery at the moment, what size and type battery is generally fitted, the box it quite large, but manoeuvring it from above into the box can be tricky if the battery is a tad large ?

the battery that was fitted in the factory by Jayco for our new Penguin which was delivered in November 2016 was
Ritar RA12-100 GEL battery. This is a 12V 100Ah battery.
The dimensions are 328mm L x 172mm W x 222mm H and it weighs 30kg.
If you have the standard Setec power supply / charger I would suggest sticking to a GEL battery. Although the Setec manual states it supports GEL or AGM, there is no way to select the battery type. The charging voltages are slightly different for the two battery types.
