Chevallan archery club and camping ground,all facility, well managed , dog friendly, good base for Mary Valley steam trains,on the back road to/from Maryborough ,have a go at archery while you are there.

Bit too close to home, 20 mins but looks like a nice place not really on back road to Maryborough though, its just off Tin Can Bay Rd....and the Lamb Shank Pies at Ross Crk store are just the best....

time to change discription < back road> becomes <scenic route>,agree about Ross Creek store which is also a good overnighter

just checked wiki camps ,it states the it is open for campers and rv, new managers on site

Might be awhile before I head into the big smoke (Gympie) but I will check it out............ no need to tell folk how great it is up here, too many wandering around here now...lol,lol,lol...............
