Another Top Tourist park (we prefer them), this one is a fairly simple and old park, but it was fresh and had the appearance of regular maintenance and upgrading.

The park is adjoining the Avoca Dell picnic area of the Murray, about 8km from town. Many sites had views to the river, but far enough away that the noise from speedboats and jet skis was not obvious. For those who like bird life, there is also a wet lands area with walking tracks. The sites were split leveled, and had a choice of fully grassed, or gravels with concrete pads.

Toilets and showers were quite old still with 1950's terrazzo, and a later extension, but they were spotless and in great condition. Possibly a bit of waiting when the park is full, but we had no problem at 1/2-3/4 full. Large clothes lines.

There is a large covered area with a large powerful bbq and a mini-golf course (extra cost). The playground is simple and suitable up to mid primary. The owners are friendly and good for chat. Pet friendly

I don't know what is was specifically, but we were were comfortable there and enjoyed it
