Locking knob nuts from Carefree

Ahh somehow the locking knobs worked themselves loose :embarassed: and the nuts disappeared, perhaps aliens but unconfirmed at this time. I wanted to check these http://caravansplus.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=7643 are the correct ones for my 2011 17.56-2?

I've had the pleaseure of loosing them a couple of times. Ebay option looks good, but do any members have any mods to prevent them from comming out the bottom?

Yep the are the right ones, also lost one of mine last year somewhere betweeen Rutherglen and Albury

We have used them for the last 9 months.They are easier to use,better quality and far better value than stock ones.I doubt weather You could lose them even if not tightened.

These can be brought directly from Jayco spair parts but un sure of freight cost.

Those ebay ones are definitely the go. They have a nyloc nut which prevents the handle vibrating out and getting lost. I have the standard variety and lost a couple until I clipped a small clamp onto the handle to add weight to one side of the handle. The weight stops the handle rotating throuigh vibration. The other idea I had is to drill a hole through one side of the handle and add a small nut and bolt, or large keyring just to make one side of the handle heavier than the other, thus preventing rotation by vibration.
