We are new to owning a Jayco Expanda 2005 model, an upgrade from the 80's series Swan, very nice, for our family of 6. But on a recent holiday we had a storm, and ended up with a few leaks. It ran in under the front beds, along the hinge track at the base. Does anyone else have this issue and how have you remedied it? we have the shade cloth end covers so the rest of the bed end was dry. Would love some feedback.

These models were made prior to the Hard Lid. They therefore have the tent section exposed directly to the weather.

Question - Do you have Bag Flys installed? If not look at some good quality Bag Flys. A little fiddly to set up, but on our Eagle C/T I always set them up and they are worth their weight in gold.

Yeah with enough rain the water used to come up that track on ours too. You have to make sure it's clean in there and there was a little flap of vinyl that you tried to make sure was tucked out iirc. I presume the shade cloth ends are the bed flys that bank is refering to? The original ones never fitted up to the van really well. Perhaps get them modded with a little canvas and press studs on to the van to keep the water away from the offending area
