Electrical Kogan TV / Fusion Radio

Hi,

It just so happens the remote for my 24' Kogan TV with DVD also controls the RV-CD800 fusion radio in our van.

Not great when every time you pause the TV the radio goes on

Took me a while to figure it out and I thought the radio was faulty. Finally saw the kids and joined the dots together.

I have the exact same issue, along with the aircon remote. Now when you say "control", it doesnt control anything it just frigs with it, doing all sorts inappropriate tampering. Ironically the Fusion stereo doesnt come with a bloody remote so the diagnosis took me years because I had no clue the Fusion was optioned for the remote ..... a fact that's well hidden because it doesn't come with the bloody remote.

Bit embarrassing when I left my Bay City Rollers double platinum limited edition commemorative CD in the Fusion with the external speakers volume on high, and turn on Home and Away on the TV only to set off the Fusion at full tilt.

To add to the fun, I recently purchased the tiny weenie $30 remote to resolve the cross remote action, only to find the remote only works when your standing in front of the Fusion ... in exactly the right place I can reach out with my hand

Fusion ... its certainly an "entertainment" system
