So is the $38700 with the options? Or is it the $42215 with the options. I think the price sounds pretty good to me though. Have you got any other quotes, maybe try Page Bros in Seaford too.

Dont accept the 1st quote either it pays to haggle. :)

I reckon thats bloody good price for all the gear, but you definately want the Outback model just for the clear even if dont take it the dirt, the onroads are just to low.

But definately get a few quotes

Hey Sean

Yeah its a pretty good price as mentioned in PM.
The other thing you should also take into consideration is the fact that Jayco have not had a price rise in the last 3 years. I believe that they will have one this year soon and probably within 12mths after that due to the Carbon Tax.
Think about how long you will keep your Expanda for also. We plan to keep ours for about 3-4yrs and then sell it. Reason being is that they appear to only lose 1-2k in value per year. This loss in price will probably be less as the price rises with the carbon tax therefore i reckon at the price quoted above, over 2-4 years you could break even or only lose a little bit.
Mildura was by far the cheapest from my quotes and you are right in the ball park of what we got. :) But get your own quotes. I didn't get one from Page Bros so not sure about how much they want the sale.

Cheers

We are going with page bros.they gave us a great price and so far good service. We pick up next month. We got quotes up to $10,000 difference! Another big issue is to make sure you have you're extras all set before the haggle. Good luck

Sean, someone will always do better, so just do your research, have your list ready and sound like you know what you are talking about. If you are serious and willing to put money down a good dealer will listen. It's just a game really that both parties need to have a win on. I went to Ballarat and live in Melbourne, others probably live in Ballarat and buy in Melbourne. It is a big purchase so you have to feel confident with your dealer. Good luck, check out the link below, might be of help.
