Ok brains trust, I want to fit a small full oven into our van. Not keen on caravan oven prices but found a nice sh small wall mount oven that would fit nicely under our bench top hot plates.
So, do you HAVE to have caravan stoves or can you use house ovens?
(Ill fit it but have a gas fitter plumb the gas up)

Also the oven has to be LPG compliant not mains gas, differnt burners I think.

Hi @Moto Mech,
you will also need to check that the gas pressure provided by the van regulator matches what is required by the oven.

It might also be worth checking that the manufacturer will still provide warranty if the oven is fitted in a caravan.

How do you light the oven? Do you need 240V to power the igniter?

cheers
Mike

Is the gas operation necessary?
If 240v I've often wondered if a combination micro / convection could be used in a caravan. We've had one for years and find them very good but obviously operates only on 240v.

No good for free camping but that's why Webers and similar are so popular.

Just a thought!
