After researching stone guards decided to have a go at making one for ourselves, this is the finished product which cost $200 plus labour. Bessie & Mack.

WOW!!!!! That looks unreal. What type of material did you use ?
The hardest part was sourcing the right material, found a product on ebay called Solarview, very strong with a lengthy life span. Tested on some gravel roads. Worked a treat. Bessie & Mack.

I know BP, looks good Bessie I'm also the type to give making things a go just make sure the mesh isn't too fine as it will act like a sail in the wind and can get ripped off in water crossings.

Thanks for your comment, the reason we chose this product is because it is advertised for industrial use and other applications, I suppose only time will tell. We did actually test for strength and found that we could not fault it. Bessie & Mack.
