Has anyone fitted 265/70R16 tyres to a 16.49OB

Hi,

I'd like to use the same tyres on my 16.49OB as on my Toyota ute, which are 265/70R16. I know the drums are available but query if the wheel offset is different enough to cause a problem. I don't think the 16" wheels woud be a problem, but welcome any advice

i put 31x10.5x15 (265/75 15) on my 16 49 3 ob ,with fitted no worries i've lifted my van a couple of inches but, the overall difference between your tyre dia and mine is about 1 mm yours being smaller ,and no difference in the width,i wish now i'd gone bigger with the room thats available,seems to ride a bit smoother with bigger boots too.

Always nice to hear from someone who has done it. Guess it's now a matter of finding the coin. A slight added advantage in going to the 16" would be to lift the van a little which would be good.
