hard lid leak

Have had the panda for a couple of months now,was away at the weekend,oh boy did it rain,we seem to have developed a leak that seems to be coming in from the hard lid hinge and then working its way inside, it is quite small but annoying,I ended up putting a small tarp over the hard lid and that fixed it,anyone had this before? it may be just a one off but ???? btw it is a 2009 16 49 1 so taking it to jayco for warranty isn't an option,any thoughts fixes??

Hi Andy, just said this in another thread but yeah it happened to me with the same van as you, 09 as well! I sealed the entire edge of the hinge with white sika as the water was coming in between the hinge and lid.....no more leak after that!
