While away on our trip, the 240v switch for the hot water system packed it in after copping a bit of dust on the Oodnadatta track and coincidently the water temp dropped to about 35 degrees in the van. Not being keen on heading across the bottom of Oz in winter with not so hot water, we made a call to the Jayco warranty line. They were easy to deal with and as keen as us to sort things out before we left Adelaide and pointed us in the direction of Slade's caravan repairs. Brad from Slade's was awesome, troubleshooting the problem before sending one of the guys out two days later - we couldn't get into a Jayco service centre until mid August. An hour later the switch is fixed and the tempering valve was replaced, giving us plenty of hot water again. If you need anything done while coming through this part of the world, give them a call, fantastic service.
