I have one of these. I got it for the Expanda but never used it. Was going to check with the plumber who signed off on my gas work but forgot. Will use it on the Starcraft when I do the heater install and move the gas bottles. The Kedrons all have wall plates.
Hahaha your a brave manSimilar spot to our rear bayonet... No need to move ours as I get Mrs Dagree under there to fit the hose. She's smaller than me
Front one on ours is in an easier spot to get to but still need to get on knees!

@burnsie the van should have one. Tbh My front one has been a bit of a bitch so I am thinking of going back to the door stopper. Plus the door stopper protected the sides. With the plug you still get grime in the start of the bayonet. Looks neater but not sure it's better.
I rerouted my gas bayonet to point outwards - see this article, but not sure if I posted any photos!

A squash ball with the top cut out of it, is the option I went for because I had some spare squash balls lying around. It squeezes nice and tightly around the outside of the fitting and no dust or mud can ingress the internals, meaning they are always clean and dry.
