I have just been poking around in the back of the fridge vent to see whats in there and came across packaging tape still wrapped around the the pipe that runs across the top of the cooling fins which I removed.
I also saw cardboard behind the fins to block off the gap between the top of the fridge and the cavity it fits into, i presume this has to be blocked to prevent heat build up in the top cavity.
I have attached a photo, is cardboard whats normally used, is it a fire risk, and should I replace it and with what.
