So our 17-56 doesn’t have a roof vent and I really want to add one. Loved the one we had in our Swan. We’ve got the stupid cupboard mounted air con so nothing on the roof except solar panel.
any tips when it comes to cutting one in? I’m handy with tools, no problems there. Just always unsure cutting a hole in my van!!

A worthy mod but haven't done it..................I wonder if a stud finder would work ??? as I assume there are some brace timbers in there.

Jayco will have a roof construction plan, get your dealer to source it. Failing that, approach Jayco directly for it
