Hi all,

Last year we ordered our 18 with the Cityside/Gridlock ink fabric, i don't know about anyone else but our front edges of our lounge are showing signs of wear/discolour already....bit disappointing really and our first trip was the October long weekend last year! I will mention this to Jayco but i won't hold my breath.

We are carefull with the van i.e. no shoes inside and no feet on lounge but i wonder if fabric protection would make a difference?

Cheers.

Burnsy, do you have a photo? Fabric protection usually only protects from staines doesn't it? I haven't noticed anything with ours (and I vacuum ours daily while away). You may have some luck with Jayco... under consumer law it hasn't performed how one would expect. There may be a fault with the fabric.

Fabric has a 12mth warranty. It has to be fit for purpose. No different to a car. You just need to take it back to the dealer you bought it off.:drama:

No, any dealer will do.

Hi Andrea, no pics yet, not sure if they will show it as much. I'll call Jayco and see what they say!

Cheers.

Hi,

Ours lounge backs started to get that peel effect on them. It wasnt that bad, but still made it look worn. We took photos and sent them to Newcastle. The van was out of warranty by a few months. Jayco replaced them both with new backs no questions asked. Didnt have to argue, they where happy to help. This is why i will always lean to another Jayco...

Thanks mate, how does it look now? I'm surprised they still have the same fabrics 12 months or so down the track! Good to know.

Cheers.

To be honest we have kept the old ones on as they didn't ask for them back. We will put them on when we eventually sell it so it looks nice for sale...

That said the new ones look really nice ans sometimes i am tempted to put them one to give the van a new look again.

The old ones still shouldnt have done what they did though... I cant remember the name of our fabric, but it is the light grey with the oval spots of colour on it. Very pascal style...
