Finally got around to installing a slide out kitchen on the 2014 17.56.2 Outback. Took a bit of doing but really happy with the end result.

Larger boot door installed (Coast to Coast Door 3) absolutely no tolerance for error due to seam at front of van & awning arm at the other end (Had to slightly trim awning mounting bracket). Trust me I measured about 10 times to make sure I got it right. Decided to go without an outdoor sink as I intend to put a cutting board in the middle of the hob & Baby Q & simply use a shallow container for any washing up if required.

Runners($225) & hob ($169) soured from eBay

I had the aluminium pressed up by a local boat fabricator for $100 including material.

Hatch door $145.

Labour free. But would be pretty pricey if you were to get a caravan business to do.

Looks good mate. Do you take the lid off the Weber and store in the front boot also? or do you put the Weber elsewhere, when not in use?
I am looking at doing something similar for our new van..

Thats a smooth looking job, had ideas for similar on Big Mal but once I saw the price of the hatch I changed my mind, it fits in the Ute good enough.
