expanda numbers

hi all first of probably many questions
what do all the jayco numbers mean
16-49-2 etc
or is it a bit like falcon/fairmont/fairlaine
we just bought a 16/49/3b
but seen other 16/49/3 and completely different

Your spot on the numbers all do mean different things. The 16.49 is the length of the van and the -2 is the layout ie the 16.49-2 is a 16 footer with bunks and as you know a 16.49-3 is a 16 footer with toilet and shower the b stands for the type of configuration of the table some are length ways and some are across the van which is also called a cafe dinnette model.

A 17.56-2 is a 17 footer etc

Well I don't mean to make the numbers any more confusing than they are but I thought the same thing, the 17.56 models are actually 18'3" and some of the 14 footers are 15'3". Apparently size doesn’t matter:laugh:, I think the extra foot in a caravan is always a good thing though!

I believe a 17.56-1 means that the "internal length" of the van is 17', the 56 is the model and -1 is the layout type.
