Earth Tremor.........who felt it?

So who felt the tremor? The whole house was rockin :smokin:

It happened just before 9pm and listening to the radio its pretty statewide

It was a 5.2 lasting 30-40 seconds

Yep..... We felt it here in Sunbury. Thought my wife was kicking my chair at first..... Ha!

I thought it was wind at first, then it got louder and stronger. The entire house was shaking upstairs, doors and windows rattling, was about to grab the kids and make a run for it! Was full on!

From next door to the Driz, it was pretty full on. My misses was giving a hair cut and she freaked out. Still no excuse for my bad head though....
I went outside to check the Panda as the front end is up on blocks due the slop on our block. Luckily all seems ok.

The kids freaked. Spent the next 20 minutes giving a lesson on quakes, tectonic plates, and why we are safe(r) compared to other places....

Yep.......we certainly felt it.
Our house is on a slab so its very unusual for it to move at all.

All 3 kids came bolting out of their rooms, middle one took quite a while to settle after it too..

Yep agree, we were sitting on the couch in Sunbury and it started to wobble as did the table lamp. We thought our son was being a pain untill he rushed in lol and asked if it was an earthquake. The dog frieked and jumped off the couch with his tail and ears down.

Felt quit strong here in Frankston. No damage at all.
