Posted before but thought I would share again. Standard drawbar, opens from the front so I always have full access. Custom made by local company. Box is 1200Lx 450D x 500H and each gas bottle holders are 340 so total length is 1880. Fits weber and much much more.

This is our new box, similar to some others on here. Has slide puts for the webber and Honda as well a a box in the centre to put the outside floor mat etc in. I just have to fit a light in it and it is done.

Hi, really like your toolbox design, would you mind giving me the dimensions of it please?
Cheers.

Hey guys just wondering about toolboxes and total weight. I looked at 3 vans yesterday 1 being a 16.49.1

From memory the tare weight was 1453 and gvm (i think) 1753 meaning can only add 300kg to van with toolbox water in tank clothes food table chairs annex etc etc wouldn't it be really easy to go over the gvm? Sorry its a little off topic. We are looking to buy a 16.49.1 and would want a toolbox for sure but not sure its worth it if u cant load it up.

Garanteed to go over @michael d i had a box simalar in functionality to @Red1 on our 16:49-3 it weighed close to 70kg empty. So by the time it's loaded it's 100kg plus and right on the drawbar so probably adds 75kg on the tow ball. You pretty much can't have that on a single axle and be legal even duals only get 475kg and would struggle. We got 600kg payload on the Starcraft and with a toolbox weighing only 26kg (here)and everything else loaded for 3-4 people we struggle to be under payload!!!
