i ended up pulling the vent off and the wires for 12v were easily accessible like suggested above. they were connected using a screw on connector so i unscrewed them and just connected positive and negative to the battery on the tug and turned the fridge on 12v and voila, she worked. so I am just going to run new wires to the draw bar and run an anderson for the fridge. Instead of going through the mess of wiring trying to find whats wrong figured its better to run new wires and also an anderson that way less voltage drop. easy.
