Do Not Overtake Turning Vehicle Signs

Just wondering if anyone has purchased a "Do Not Overtake Turning Vehicle" sign. When we picked up our new van (16.49.3) last Thursday, the guys at Sydney Jayco mentioned we should get one as it is illegal to take a wider birth into another lane to turn left without one. We were told Tow Ed sold them and I have checked and they are $30 a sticker. Is there anywhere else to get these, given there are strict compliance rules? Also, the rules state that the front reflective surface of the plate must bear the name of the manufacturer or agent for the plate to be legal yet I have not found any so far that I can see this information on.

I saw a few on ebay recently, but I don't know about the legal sizes and details. I vaguely recall different sizes for different applications or GVM/length/classes or something.

eBay from Tasmania $15. Search "Do not overtake turning vehicle" self adhesive reflective. Rigs over 7.5m should display one. Pics of my rig. Also Google same phrase.

We have one on our 16 foot. It is a similar size to the number plate. Fitted it between the l/h lights and the number plate on the flat panel.

On a 16 foot, it isnt really required but if you have it you can legally turn a corner using more than one lane.

Ebay is the best place to find them however Jayco dealers sell them

Buying fron Truck supliers you can have the choice of different size configurations in lettering and either if you want Stickers or Reflective Aluminium Plates, What best suits the space you have to put them in !
