Looking at the Jayco site, it calls the alternative Tregg hitch a "shock-proof swivel coupling"

What does it mean as 'shock-proof' and are they really???

I found with the standard hitch (with or without WDH connected) every bump the caravan hit, was transferred to the vehicle, and increased, and got quite uncomfortable. (We never found this with the Swan tho). Does 'shock-proof' mean this is reduced?

thanks
Andrew

Shock proof means any shock is absorbed through the poly block on the tregg coupling. It works really well and is nice and quiet.

You dont get any knocking noises like a ball can make.

My standard coupling is fairly quiet, though the WDH hitch can make some weird sounds a times especially on turns that where a little tighter than they should be.

The Swan was OK but when I had the Eagle it near drove me nuts on some roads no matter how many times I tried to adjust it
