When I picked up my van last weekend I quickly wired my reverse camera which meant I had to poke my head under the van a fit a few cable ties. I noticed the left rear brake wires were apart, no biggy! I just cleaned connections and pushed them back in. I will solder them when I undersling it.

I remember about 18 months ago there was a recall, I checked the data base of chassis numbers and mine wasn't on it. Funny thing is there were numbers listed before and after mine. Maybe @DaveS might know.

Anyway it takes a minute so poke your head under and make sure the wires are connected.

yeah we saw a lot with the brake recalls spread over weird chassis numbers .... us workshop blokes agreeded it was when some twit was rostered on at the factory, problem disappeared during lunch and smoko breaks :)

agree with you tho, check the terminals. when the recall came out we did a tug test on the joint of all vans for mech PD, a lot failed that wern't on the list and we joined em properly ........ i still do it now out of habit, but don't find as many
