Hi guys, ive just bought a panda off Willy who installed a new battery.

Being a newbie, I was wondering if i have to charge the new battery, of will it be full when purchased?

Also wondering how I can check the charge of the battery as there is no control unit in the van (ive been spoilt as my Dove camper does).

Apologies for asking such simple questions but considering a caravan mover so this will be important as I dont want to kill the battery.

Plug the Expanda into your house flick the battrey isloation switch on and let the Setec do the rest. If I dont use our van I make sure to plug it in every four to six weeks to ensure the battrey is always topped up.

We always charge battery on 1st day of month for about 8 hours via setek when at home.

Dog also has heart worm pill on that day so one of us usually remembers particularly as both can cost money if we forget...then the dog's battery goes flat and the van gets heart worm and probably fleas.
