Not sure where to ask this question but I'm looking to upgrade my 2012 Jayco Eagle Outback because of my growing family. For our needs we love the 17ft Starcraft/journey OB pop top (second hand) with bunks.The problem is I'm 6'5 and the east west bed is too short I think its only 190cm long and not sure how wide. has anyone removed the shelf at the bed end to allow a longer mattress or can it be done? I know its a odd question but and help would be appreciated.
