Earlier this year we spent 4wks in a campervan in the UK ,we joined "Brit Stops" where pubs ,pick your own ,
etc have a space were you can park free only bit is you have to be a member and introduce yourself when you arrive, we used then when we could no problems as a caravan pk was 25 pounds plus a night.Brit Stops is 25 pounds a year to join even stayed in a vineyard great people.
Now this year we are heading to Victoria, N.S.W & the Sunshine coast,march, April and part of May so we looked up sites for free camping and came across this site
