Electrical Brakeaway system remote battery monitor

When we picked up the van Jayco gave us a remote monitor for the brakeaway battery .
Does any one know how to pair it to the brakeaway ?
I did what the instructions said , held button down for 20sec then remote beeped 5 times and nothing after that .
Crap they gave me 2 incase and I can't get either to work .
Any ideas ?

No setting up required for ours.... All I did was plug it in to check and pulled the pin on the breakaway unit and made sure the alarm went off!

Yes be nice to have a Ok light like @dagree above did not think it was working. So plugged in pulled breakaway cable while stopped beep beep beep

This must be some new tech.

I've got a remote battery monitor in my vehicle, but it is hard wired. Every time you hit the vehicles's brakes a green light comes up to show that the battery is charged.
