Haven't been there yet but much respect to someone that has the balls to open a new park in Queensland.

This is the first new park to open in Queensland since the 1970's

I think you will find that they closed one to open another, so helps to grow some. The Big4 down the road near the motorway was sold to become units across from waterfront and over 50s onsite mobile home village at rear. Mind you the new one is on the waterfront rather than across the road. Been watching it get developed and it looks good. Would stay there myself except we have a digs at Mudjimba. But looking at site it looks impressive and the dog is allowed out of holidays. Maybe I should try it out after all .
Also the caravan park at Mudjimba is being expanded ATM with new sites etc and also another park is proposed for Marcoola so you can hear the surf between plane movements.

Also believe that there will be a new park where the Sandstone Point Hotel is at Bribie Island

Maybe Sth East Qld, I think there have been a few in the rest of QLD since then..................

Just looked at the web site, bloodyy hell !!!!!!!!!!! Powered site $57/nt plus power, metered power........they have got to be joking, have to be desperate I reckon.

I read the same stuff, I went up the creek in the boat to see what they had done on the water front, not much except a small boat ramp, but it must be doing okay as it's always chockers??
