I pretty much buy everything from caravan plus, not necessarily the cheapest but orders always arrive
https://www.caravansplus.com.au/

Hi @rags and @1DayIll, I have bought parts for my van and friends on that Ebay site - 240 volt heating element for 3 way fridge and gas burner fitting too. Prompt service and seem good prices too. Sometimes if you can recognise the part and take it with you, you can often find a part to do the job at Bunnings and save a lot of time and trouble.

Agree with @rags , caravans plus have always given great service to me especially when I'm on the road and want a part yesterday, general plumbing bits can be sourced from Bunnings, Mitre 10 etc, globes, cable etc I find places like autoelec on Ebay and another place the name escapes me to be great, both Australian, proper australian electrical shops not a chink warehouse in the burbs....... Caravansplus has parts diagrams for most units so makes it so much easier.

For bearings, brakes, springs etc other than the local bearing or brake shop I have also used for various bits these 2 joints, https://www.couplemate.com.au and
https://www.alltrailerspares.com.au

About the only time I used a dealer for parts was at Watsons at Coffs for new roof vent after hail storm, actually was a good price and since I wanted it NOW was very happy but normally steer clear of dealers.

Ebay - from now until 30th Jan (I think) use the code PREPARE at checkout - I saved 10% off my Solar controller and Battery sense yesterday. They reduced the price of the Battery Sense (as it included shipping) because I purchased the 2 items, with the 10% off code. Worked a treat.

https://www.coastrv.com.au is owned by Jayco and is the supplier for all parts, particularly found in Jaycos. If it a part in your Jayco your after, and Coast RV cant supply its unlikely youll get it anywhere. They have catalogs you can use to find the bit, bobs you need and the names for them.

https://www.rvpartsexpress.com.au is an online supplier of Jayco parts ... also owned by Jayco. Youll find a lot of parts, goodies and all things Jayco on there to purchase. RvPartsExpress used to deliver to your local Jayco dealer for free, not sure if they still do that.

We we’re heading down to the Blue Mts on the day prior to Christmas and stopped for some breakfast and flicked pump on and It stopped working. Being a cheap pump i had installed I though bugger and started scheming on what I could do knowing everything will be shut over the coming days.
Driving thru Coffs Harbour I noticed Watson’s and though here is my chance to get a new pump.Well I had already looked at caravanplus website and aware of their price I found the same pump in Watson’s but for $40 more. Quick conversation with the wife and we agreed that we pay the $40 “get it here get it now tax“ and we will be on our way. I did get to the counter and mentioned the online price and I did get a few bucks off.

But we did get to browse the shop then browse the new vans and use their clean toilets and an hour and 15 minutes later we were on our way. The pump was installed on Christmas morning.
