18' Series Bbq

another novice question!
Our van has the jayco fittd bbq.. Nice touch we thought yet it has a bayonet fitting that attaches (in theory) to the gas supply line underneath. However the bbq end appears far too wide to go anywhere near the outlet point to screw inside??? Is there normally some kind of adaptor?

Also found two mystery lights in a cupboard. Look like jayco lights but they have clips on them and like speaker plugs on one end??? Most odd.. I'm sure hugely useful just no sure where!

Can't help with the BBQ @Anja dunford (Maybe a pic of what you want to do?) but the lights clip on the "hockey stick" that fit to the bed ends. The speaker style plugs fit into the light at the entrance of the beds.
Some of the new clip on lights also have a small fan included in them.

yes the fans work ok just to move air around in the bed ends the fan blows air up to the roof and it spreads out so one person doesn't get all the air I like our blue lights in the van good when kids are asleep
are u sure there is no bayonet fitting underneath for it they can take a bit of pushing to go in and twist ???????

While away, my 2 youngest bought toys that just happened to 'glow' under the blue lights. Kept them entertained for ages.
