BBQ Hose Connector

Hi all,

May be a silly question but I have the stock standard portable BBQ with the bolt style connector that screws on to the portable BBQ gas bottles.
The gas outlet on the A frame of my Expanda is different.

Can someone give me some advice on what sort of adapter/hose I need to get for the Expanda outlet so I can screw the portable BBQ to it??

That's the fitting on the expanda which can be had from any reputable bbq / gas supply shop.

What you need to confirm is what fitting is on the back of the BBQ.

Standard for most BBQ's is a 3/8 fitting but if its a coleman roadtrip or something then it has an impossible adaptor to switch over.

I use a 2 burner Gasmate cooker with hotplate.

I would have to get up of the lounge and look at mine in the garage and its to cold :lol:

But if memory serves me correctly they have a 3/8 connection on the back.

As long as you have the bayonet on the a-frame you just need a bayonet on one end and a 3/8 on the other.

Any BBQ shop will have them in various lengths with 3 metre being the maximum.

Please don't get up......it's bloody cold!! Your image gave me exactly what I was after. At least I know what to look for.

I checked the Gasmate webpage so I now know what I'm looking at.
