Electrical Awning sensor light.

After recently having some gear stolen from outside our van it has prompted me to upgrade our security.
First step.....I thought of installing an LED awning sensor light.
Does anybody have some feedback on the NARVA 87788 LED SENSOR EXTERNAL AWNING LIGHT.
Just interested if you can use it as a normal light (ie with a switch) as well as a sensor light?

I have seen these, but don't know much about them. I made my own that clips onto the pop top side frame and hooks into the light circuit for the awning light. I have made a switch that switches between the awning light and the sensor light I built. It's pretty bright and I can adjust the time it stays on. It's a shame there are scumbags who steel from people.
