We go down to Augusta a few times a year and either stay at Turners caravan park or Molloy caravan park.

Turners is a council park in town of Augusta. Is located right on Blackwood river. All size vans catered for. Nice enough ablution blocks. Has its own boat ramp. Best to avoid summer holiday periods. We just stayed for a week during winter school hols and the park was probably a third full. We had great weather, went fishing, kayaking and even saw some whales in the bay.

Molloy cp is about 15km out of town and is a bit more "country". Is also right on blackwood river and has its own boat ramp. Ablutions are a bit old and maybe not enough when park is full. You can have a fire on your allotment in fire place provided. Fishing, skiing, kayaking and bushwalking are some activities. We like it here because its a bit more out of the way and quieter.

When in Augusta we stayed at Hamelin Bay. Its about 20km north of the town. The cvan park is nothing flash, and I think council run, but was under improvement in Sept 2010. We were advise we didn't need to pre book and we turned up there were only two others there. Out site was about 50m from the water at Hamelin Bay.
