Hi everyone. I'm rick, the better half is leanne and we have a ten year old daughter named bianca.
WE just finalized on a 17-56-1OB here in Perth through Caravanland. As it is a flooor stock van used at the recent show, we pick it up in a week and a half. It comes with the bigger fridge and annexe, and not much else at the moment. Let the mods begin.
Have been having a bit of a read around the forum and i will definately be having some fun playing with the new toy.
We have changed over from a Goldstream Storm which we sold last year, so it has been awhile since we got out camping.
Will post some pics when we get it home.

Good on you Rick, Leanne & Bianca. You will love the van.
Look forward to seeing pics on the handover. Consider taking the extra 3 yr warranty offer on the Dometic 150ltr, should cost $99.00
Cheers Deano

GReat news!
I'm jelous that you can pick it up so quickly. Make sure you have a good look over it at handover for any faults, however, my theory aslways was that Demos have already been put through their paces so hopefully all screws and bolts are tight!

Thanks guys. Yep getting it nice and quick and SWMBO is well into her, need to get this and that mode. :)
Looking at putting a set of 16 inch rims on it if possible with 265/75r16 tyres, not sure yet if it will work out.
We will have it parked in the front yard for awhile and are having a good head scratching session on the best way to make sure the light fingered brigade dont take it........any ideas?????

Thanks guys, went to the dealer today to make sure the wiring on the car and van will match up. They are going to change the 12 pin plug to a 7 pin and anderson for us.
Managed to hook onto the van for a few minutes as i wanted to make sure the hitch hieght would match up as well and noticed that the safety chains are to short. Well not really to short if i run them straight to the car without crossing them, and there is no slack in the chains at all. I'm thinking a large 3.2ton shackle should fit and give us the length we need otherwise the chains will have to come off and longer ones put on.
Thats it for now, roll on Saturday....:):):)
