We had no intention of stopping here, but due to the bushfires near Yass, Goulburn and Tarcutta where we were intending to stop we decided to push through to ALbury/Wadonga, and not risk the road being closed again, or being affected by smoke.

The hosts of this small park were happy to accommodate us at short notice, and were friendly and helpful on arrival at 5 minutes before closing times. (we did call ahead a couple hours before)

The park is located on the old Hume Hwy and is basically a loop internal road, with around 20 wide drive through spaces in the middle, and cabins and camping around the edge. A pool and playground is at the front, and camp kitchen in the centre. Amenities were likewise small and a little cramped, but clean and in good condition.

Sites were wide, with two spaces to each 'section' each entering from different directions, so annexes were facing each other. The only issue there was the next side mean the vans were back to back so when they started noisily packing up at 6am it was a bit too close.....
Most sites were gravel (comfortable under bare feet), and grass only at the pool and under tent sites.

A pleasant small park, and on the Straydingo rating scale: 4 / 5

Yep nice little park, we stayed there on the way to the Vic High Country Meet, we got one of the drive through sites just near the amenties, it was long enough for us to stay hitched up, though a tad close to the neighbours, facing each other, but it was only for the night so no issue.
