Air Con Air Intake

We have ordered our new 14.44-4OB and while clambering around underneath one at Jayco I noticed 3 rather large holes that are for air intake to the air con. The first thing that came to ming was water and dust ingress. Has anyone encountered any issues surrounding, and if so would love to know any opinions on to remedy the problem.

Hi Darren, we have six holes, 4 one side of the chassis and 2 on the other side. I made up some hinged plywood covers and rubber seals which have worked well you just need to remember to open them when using the A/C.

Dad with his Sterling made a metal ram type scoop that faced backwards and pushes a lump of foam in to block off, with mine I wanted a bit more water tightness than the foam.
