After encountering very strong winds on our last trip, we just bought a pair of these awning clips from an eBay seller. Haven't put them to the test yet but they are very well made and appear to fit well. I'll update again after we have tried them out, but here is the link for anyone who is interested.

It's awesome.... tells you how much time you have left on current consumtion, until you battery is down to your designated level e.g 50%.
has current used, stage of charge, battery voltage, battery alarm. Love it and very easy to install.
