I like the black outside light and external power/TV outlets, won,t discolour like the white ones.

Hmm, don't be surprised to find that they have just painted them black. Last year, the Adventurer on show at the Melbourne Camping show had black fittings and the paint was already peeling off. Perhaps they did it in a hurry to get it done in time to display it.

cheers

Seems the grey/black scheme is all the rage now, I think I prefer the lighter colours. It's amazing how much heat is absorbed with a darker coloured van, Insulation isn't all that great.

I saw one go past in Hervey Bay today, another Stealth Van like a lot of others, dark livery doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid. Trying to be something a pimply kid dreams up in a concrete block in the city......the one I saw seemed darker than @1DayIll posted pics of.

The white awning arms, white bed end locks, etc.

Seems like it isn't quite there yet for me as a colour scheme.

personally prefer the white, but the grey as it's being released now just looks like it needs the accessories to catch up.

The 2019 models are now showing on the Jayco website. The 17-58 now appears to have a black roof and black roll out awning and black arms. Certainly different but was does that do for the internal temp, probably not a lot. When we bought ours last year, I asked several times if we could get the same dark interior color as the DX model. No No No. This year it is the standard colour.

I just got a new roof on Big Mal, the old roof was a Coromal tan colour, not real dark but my new roof is white and the temp inside on a flamin hot day is decidely cooler, you touch the inside lining and its not as hot as it used to be, so with these darker vans it certainly will be warmer, 25mm of styro does not do much.......okay if you camp in parks but for free camping you want all the help you can get....
