Hi all, just wondering if anyone has heard of, or asked Jayco to place the battery box under the dinette seat - at the rear of the draw. Measurements indicate that it may fit & saves room under the bed. Or would Jayco make the draw a bit less deep to make it fit easier? DOS

Jayco seem to be less tolerant of changes than ever. then ofcourse you have to hope they get it right! My guess is they would be relucant to move it to far from wherever the setec unit is?
I have eyed the same spot of for a 2nd battery in the 17ft. it will be a no brainer to do myself.

Have negotiated with the Jayco factory to put the battery under the seat instead of the bed. We just loose the draw and will now have a drop down flap to access under the seat in place of the draw.
