Hi All,

We take delivery of our new 17.56.2 next month. We have ordered roof aircon and would like to ask if any of the members could recommend a cover that could accomodate the roof mounted unit.

Thanks in advance.

I use a Prestige 16-18ft caravan cover (not pop top) on my 17.56.2 and pop the lid. Fits like a glove.
I don't have roof A/C although the sizing info says you don't have to consider it in determining the size of cover.
I'll take a photo and post it tomorrow.

I got the Coast to Coast 17 foot cover with my van and I have the rooftop aircon and awning and it fits fine. Putting it on, well, that's another story...

Thx Turtle. Do you see any long term issue with having the lid permantly up?
I can only see the lid being up as a benifit (no sticking rubber seals, no mould and airs the inside)

Whilst I don't have a cover, I store mine in my garage with the roof up also.
Personally I think it's better for the van as it enables air to circulate throughout, keeping it fresher, IMHO...

In the cold of Canberra we find mould growing on our pop top seals! I would love to be able to leave the pop up!

Also

I use the Prestige caravan cover!
