Hey @Hardman, the 16ft has been dropped from the line up, but was very very popular until the 17fter appeared. The 16fter came in 3 x variants 16.49.1, the 16.49.2 bunk model and the 16.49.3 shower model. 16fters are single axle, 17s dual axle.

Thanks very much as the 16.49.3 would be the way to go for us, hope there is a used one around

There would be heaps of 16.49.* models in general particularly the 1s, but I dont know how many of the "3"s would have been sold by comparison. We had a "1" for 5 years, and loved it. We free camp a lot, and coming from a camper trailer we didn't know any better, so our shower tent, Porta Potti and portable gas hot water unit did us fine for that 5 years, in fact was still regularly use the portable gas shower and shower tent with the current 20ft van when freecamping (and we have a full bathroom onboard) The portable uses less water, and we can source the shower water from anywhere (non portable included) without putting questionable water into the vans tanks and giving Gardia to everyone onboard. In the 16.49.1 we had the smallest Thetford Porta Potti's, the 345 model slides very neatly on an upside down carpet tile into the cabinet under the robe. Just for $hits and giggles, 16.49 means 16ft and/or 4.9 metres, not very inventive, but sounds like a cool code until you discover what it means. The 1, 2 and 3 can mean anything across different model ranges.

I installed a two way valve in the hot water line to the shower so that one way the hot water comes from the van as normal but the other way the water comes from outdoor external hot water system. The water pressure is not quite as good but still adequate from the Aqua Cube which you can turn on and then go inside for your shower as normal. No need for external tent.
