I put a switch in this weekend so I can run the fridge off either the car or the van battery. Can also switch to both so the van battery is linked to the car (like a dual battery set up without the isolator) Cheap and easy job under $50 and very handy. Just a shame the thermostat in the fridge doesn't operate on DC power.
