Sorry if there is already a thread on this... After hints/tips for installing a couple of 12v outlets for outside the van and inside.
Cheers

I have just done this! I just drilled through the floor near the battery and ran a cable to an Anderson plug on each side. Grey one for running fridge outside and red on on offside for portable solar panels.

I ran the cable for the grey plug into the Setec enclosure and utilised one of the empty spots. Put in a few and hey presto. Good thing is it will switch off when the battery is isolated.

I haven't done anything with the solar plug as yet. Looking at a new MPPT regulator and will connect up.

I have a 12V outlet on the offside for plugging in the 12V shower for filling up the water tanks from portable water containers.
and I added some extra outlets in the kids room for TV, fridge etc. For the outlets in the rear I added a extra fuse directly from the battery (easier due to cable run) and for the offside plug there was an extra fuse location left on the citec board.

just remeber that the setek is only rated to 10amps on it's outputs, which is fine for a standard 12v socket. if you need more ommpff use a anderson fused to the battery, they are rated for 50amps (wiring dependant)

I like your style @Hubble80! Sounds exactly like what i need. Better buy some anderson plugs.

I have the wife convinced that we need more freezer room! But it is merely to carry more beer! Beauty of it is that I don't have to go inside the van and wake the kids to grab myself a cleansing ale!

I have only put it there to run a small fridge as above. I have put the standard 10A fuse in. If I find the need to run anything more hefty I will run a separate circuit.
