So nothing to do, so time to get Jockey wheel sorted, replace dodgy bearing with new one, clean the whole thing up and cut wheel off and fit a nice foot plate instead, lovely job........... Fitted it to draw bar, wound it up, still felt a bit dodgy, then it let go, only fell a few inches as I always use a jack stand under the draw bar, so cut the nut head end off and find the damn thread has let go.................................Not happy one bit, especially as I made a foot plate for it.........off to shops to get a new one, extra solar panel on hold again............................................BUMm, bother..............and other adjectives.

Yes Sir, can you help me escape the lunatic asylum that is Vic. I say that, but being Victorian Ill conveniently forget it
Hi @Crusty181
You have two wins today. What more do you want?
The useless health minister has resigned and is leaving parliament. Best news I have had since April when I started bleating on about how incompetent the DHHS was.
You will also have a bright shiny new minister in charge of the lunatic asylums since the current one will be the new health minister.

Unfortunately, I haven't noticed any leaders in the Victorian government, all just completely useless politicians.

Noticed scomo saying today he keeps out of state politics when asked about the resignation of a Victorian minister. Strange, he seems to be in boots and all interfering with QLD and WA State affairs.

But today, the prize for useless politicians goes to none other that Boris. He is going to the UN this week to deliver a lecture suggesting countries need to pull together. I almost fell off my chair. This *&^*&7 idiot is one of the main drivers for the UK leaving the EU. The word hypocrite does come to mind!

As for the uncontested top of my chart, the less said the better.

take care
Mike

It all just encourages me to find my solace in song. Classics that have given me hope such as Memories-Streisand, Revolution-Beetles, and the song summing it Hour of the Idiot-Meat Puppets

Hi @Crusty181,
I can tell you are a recent fan: "Beetles"!:bolt:
There is also a song by the Rolling Stones, that also comes to mind. I will leave it to you to name it.

take care
Mike
Funny what you find on the internet, a mere 45min before you needed it (my defence is Im correcting their spelling mistake for the kids reading this)

As for an appropriate Roleling Stoanes track (staying in character), I discovered this gem in their surprisingly extensive song list. If this one wasnt what you were referring to it certainly should have been

Memory Motel - 1976 album Black and Blue :D

Well you lost me, I might need a breather after my fast run to Goomeri with scenic run back home via Widgee with a couple of the Grandkids (only 300kms), so thankfull son in laws New New Age is under warranty , otherwise he would have pulled into our place as his BMpro is causing 12v chaos and a few other things playing up, one of the few times I'm thankful for warranties, he did say though if he gave it to me I would sort it in a day or so, as he will loose it for a week or more putting it in...... I'm glad as I don't want to go tracking power faults and BM's can be a pain I have found............ I bet him, that I reckon they will pull it and fit a new one, easier and cheaper than finding the fault unless its an obvious connection fault.

I hear you Drover....................I very nearly changed over to Lithium but decided to stay with my AGM for the moment. One less problem. No BM.

I got all the gear for Lithium, except the BM but my AGM are too new to go changing them yet.
The BT goes in tomorrow to have the aluminium cubby house fitted.

You will notice the ease of camping with a shed on the back, just makes things so much easier and if it rains, throw the crap in and slam the door, plus the doors make great awning for sun or rain............. I did line mine with insulation later on as you can burn your hands and cook a roast inside at times......... I fitted a vent and fan in mine stopped the temps getting tooo high and gave the old Engel a rest as it would just run all the time otherwise.

I put just a louvered vent on the front wall just behind cab, temp until I found something better, surprising no water came in or dust, I had a screen of a stocking foot to catch bugs none of them either and never replaced the vent, on the back wall i fitted the same small vent but on the inside fitted a 4" computer fan with switch which I would turn on when stopped in car parks etc seemed to keep the temp down to just above ambient and the system free flowed when driving.
some pics here in my Ute thread................ https://www.expandasdownunder.com/threads/drovers-new-horse-rg-colorado.7294/page-10

Some wonderfull banter also from some great fellas who are longer on here having moved along..............truly missed.
